Not many people care for paranormal aspects in western romance, but many, many, years ago I read a couple that added the paranormal. I loved it! Not vampires, werewolf, or fairies. But woman with elemental abilities and physic powers.
When I started writing the Rimrock books, I gave all of the Tucker sisters their own special gift. A gift that passes on to their daughters. Some gifts don't pass on the same, some with dire consequences. As in LaRisa's case. Her story is told in Guarded Hearts.
